Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God.and receive from him anything we ask because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. (1 John 3: 21.22)
Life without confidence is lifeless. There are fear and no hope. This continuous stage lead us into guilt. You may have different types of guilt. And Guilt is the result of sin and disobedience. When we continue to sin, then our mind starts convicting us. In such a situation, we run away from God. We stop talking with Him. We stop studying His commands. For this reason, we need to cleanse our minds every day. Bible Says- let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. (Hebrew 10:22)
We are called to walk in the light. “If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1:7). In this world, only the blood of Jesus Christ Cleanses our sin. Do not run away from God. He is our father.
God seeks for sincere and faithful hearts. If you want to please God we have to have faith. You have to believe God is our Father. And we can come to God through His son Jesus Christ. Not only Son but now Jesus is the High priest. You can tell him about your weakness. You can pour out your heart before him. Do not get frustrated considering yourself guilty. It is truly deadly to lead a life with a guilty conscience. And Satan gets an opportunity to ruin your life. The devil rejoices when you feel guilty.
It is true that you have sinned, but it is not true that there is no redemption from sins.
